Fall Mini Sessions in Knoxville, TN
October 25th and November 1st 2026 (afternoons) at Lakeshore Park, Knoxville
Whether you're thinking about fall photos, holiday cards or just updating your family portraits because it's been a while.. these days are for you. And it's not just for families. Grab your best friends or the group that's been there through it all. Friendships deserve to be celebrated, too.
I'm hosting two afternoons of mini sessions at Lakeshore Park, where the park itself sets the scene. Open lawns, big old trees, meadow grasses and views toward the mountains give us plenty of natural backdrops to wander through, so every gallery feels a little different. It's relaxed and outdoorsy, with soft afternoon light and plenty of room for little ones to explore.

Mini · $175
Up to 20 minutes and 10 hand-edited images.
Mini + Full Gallery · $275
Up to 20 minutes and every image I edit from your session, at least 20. Knowing ahead of time also helps me plan more variety into our time together. Not sure yet? You can upgrade to the full gallery for $150 after your gallery is delivered.
Extended Mini · $325
Two back-to-back slots, up to 45 minutes, with the full gallery included, at least 35 images. It works beautifully for bigger families or when the grandparents are joining in. The extra time also means we can wander to more spots around the park, so your gallery has even more variety and our time together never feels rushed.
Every image is edited with clean, natural tones and ready to download for print or digital use. Galleries arrive within two to three weeks. If holiday cards are the plan, the October 25th date gives you the most breathing room, or add Rush Delivery for $50 at booking to receive your gallery within 7 days.
What to Wear
Wear what makes you feel comfortable and most like yourselves.. then play it up just a little. Think of it as your favorite everyday look on a really good day. A special sweater, a pretty dress, a favorite pair of boots or a hat you love can make your photos feel a bit more special than an ordinary Tuesday.
Let the occasion guide your colors, too. For fall photos, warm tones like cream, rust, olive, mustard and denim look beautiful against the changing leaves and open lawns. If you're planning to use your gallery for holiday cards, lean into deeper, festive shades like burgundy, forest green, plaid or a touch of velvet. Cozy textures like knits and flannel work for either one, and comfortable shoes are a good idea since we'll be walking a bit on grass and paths.
Try to avoid large logos, words on clothing or busy patterns so the focus stays on your people. And if an outfit falls apart on the way there, we'll make it work.
Booking Details
Mini sessions are paid in full at booking and are nonrefundable, since I'm holding that spot just for you. If something comes up, I'm happy to move you to another open slot that day or to a future mini date when one is available. If weather cancels the day, rescheduling is always on me.

Good to Know Before You Come
Location: Lakeshore Park, 5930 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville. Once you book, I'll send the exact meeting spot inside the park.
Parking: The park has several free parking areas. I'll let you know which lot is closest to where we'll meet.
Restrooms. Restrooms are available in the park, which is a nice bonus with little ones.
Sharing the space: Lakeshore is a well-loved public park, so we may see walkers, dogs and other families while we're out there. That's part of the charm, and I'll guide us toward the quieter spots. Pets are welcome to join, too, as long as they're on a leash.
Timing: Please arrive about 10 minutes early to park and settle in. Sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so each one ends at its scheduled time out of fairness to the group after you.
